'Team points' are awarded according to the adequacy of the solution with the type of innovations sought by Team for the Planet. They correspond to the analysis of several factors :

  • impact potential: impact average score > 4 => 0,5 point / if > 4,15 => 1 point.
  • global consistency: all average score of the 6 selection criteria > 2,5 => 1 point.
  • the favourite: % of assessments judge the innovation as a top one to act on a global scale against greenhouse gases > 20% => 1 point
  • the targeting: validation of Team for the Planet scope of action higher than 90% => 0,5 point + innovation level of maturity is enough => 0,5 point
  • social acceptability: semantic analysis score of comments > 0 => 0,5 point/ if > 3500 => 1 point

Detailed project

NB: this form is filled entirely by the ones submitting the innovation.

What is the issue addressed?

Intensive cereal farming and livestock breeding pollute the soil and water without being able to feed humanity. They also have a disastrous carbon impact. We are revolutionizing the production of vegetable proteins with a positive environmental impact. CO2 capture: 1ha of photobioreactors = 150ha of forest

How is the problem solved?

Agritech in 3 soilless dimensions. We produce microalgal biomass rich in proteins and essential amino acids, at a productivity/ha 20x more efficient than intensive cereal farming, without polluting the soil and water. And this captures CO2: 1200 tons on average per ha and year

What is the customer target?

Our microalgal biomass: - breeders, especially cattle with reduction of methane emissions - food industry - chefs - farmers: biostimulant Our production units: - cities and regions: food resilience and respect of the environment (CO2 capture and air and water quality/fight against eutrophication)

How is this solution different?

1- Cultivated strains (to be patented) 2- Unique industrial process that can be replicated anywhere in the world 3- Industry elements (photobioreactors to be patented) => this combination allows higher productivity and a volume effect with the best quality/price of the market to date
