Que problema foi resolvido?

The world needs a plethora of sustainable solutions to tackle single-use plastic waste that not only degrade into harmful microplastics, they often contain a plethora of harmful chemicals such as PFAs.

Como é que isso é resolvido?

We provide plastic alternative products using materials from the food and agricultural industry that can biodegrade and easily be recycled (i.e. seaweed).

Quem são os potenciais clientes?

We target farmers and plastic product manufacturers. We aim to provide complimentary income for farmers as they are our source and sink (recyclers). We target manufacturers to manufacture and distribute our products.

Em que é que esta solução é diferente?

Recyclability. We recapture the main ingredients for re-use. As the world endures climate change, bioresources & water become scarce commodities. We'll be competing for the same materials at scale? Thus, re-using what we can, whether it's upcycled, downcycled, or biodegraded as fertilizer, giving multiple lives to the same materials is important. As well, we work with more than one biopolymer.
